As a child I remember grilling with my dad, learning to start a fire using sticks and paper then fanning it to get it to ignite. Once lit the smell of mesquite charcoal meant a delicious meal was on its way. That passion for cooking kept growing and with a lot of learning and trial and error I got to the point where cooking was not only enjoyable but delicious as well. Cooking special meals for friends and family became a highlight over the years. Learning new techniques and different cuisines gave me a broad way to look at and get a better feel for different flavors that complement each other.

I got my start in the wedding business as a bartender. Enjoying the ambiance and surrounding cheer at weddings made me take the leap and join the things I love to do together. It seemed like a no brainer to add my passion for cooking to the already joyful event of a wedding.

Here is where Rockin’ Kitchen was born! Based on all of the knowledge I got over the years in weddings, seeing what did and didn’t work with other caterers and being able to learn from it gave me a head start. I decided on taking on this concept, being able to cook with live fire on site to add to this already great event. This addition adds an extra level to the ambiance as well as having the freshest product possible.

Me and my team strive on making every event as enjoyable as possible while providing an exceptional level of service.
